Last year saw the conclusion of three significant independent reviews and inquiries: the National review into the murders of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes and Star Hobson, the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. While there will be national policy responses, the findings and recommendations from these reports present opportunities for improvement that social workers and managers can take.
