Dr. Asahina is President, GP&P Co., LTD, Senior Scientific Advisor of ICCSS, a member of the Committee of the Science Council of Japan, on Safe Destruction of ACW /OCW, a member of the Special Working Group of ASME and a member of the Japan Society of Defence Facilities Engineers. He was Chief of Technology of Kobe Steel, until 2014, engaged in the main Japanese CWD projects and worldwide in Belgium and French projects for oversight of technical aspect, and proposal works for Tooele USA.
